/lego/ is the only team that has, quite literally, built their own team and stadium for the Infinity Cup though they're still waiting on a few Bricklink orders to add the final touches.
/lego/ made their debut in the Infinity Cup 6 Friendlies, losing 2-1 to /wooo/. It wasn't a complete loss, however, with Punished Yoda's goal making him a fan favourite. Throughout the 2020 Summer Infinity Cup the audience would regularly demand Punished Yoda's CBT goal horn, though they would be left disappointed after he failed to score a single goal in the entire tournament.
Their first official match was a rematch against /wooo/, with /lego/ being able to save face after a 1-0 victory. /bane/'s strong defence was no match for /lego/'s comparatively weak offence, and their second match ended in a 1-0 defeat. The third and final match in Group B would be against /sw/; this was a resounding 3-1 victory with the resulting match being both /lego/'s biggest win and /sw/'s biggest defeat. The /lego/ v /sw/ match was highly anticipated due to the rivalry between the boards, and alongside the /bane/ v /wooo/ match the matches were collectively known as the Grudgement Day.
Having advanced past the group stages, /lego/ went on to face /fascist/ in the most surprising match of the cup; despite leading 3-0 in the majority of the cup /fascist/ made a sudden comeback and were able to score 4 successive goals - winning the match and ending /lego/'s aspirations of advancing further into the tournament.

Description

Alfred Legosen
|
The Golden Boot
|
|
Although the award was split three ways (a first in the history of the cup), Alfred Legosen was able to take it home for /lego/ with his 6 goals.
|
- Both the Home and Goalkeeper Kit are taken from the same team from Lego Sports
- The Away Kit is a homage to the Lego Paradisa line, with the shirt being the iconic windsurfer shirt and the pastel green and pastel pink being 2 of the most memorable colours of the Paradisa line
- The Home, Goalkeeper, and the shirt of the Away Kit all exist in physical form - meaning if one was dedicated enough the /lego/ roster could be built physically
- The /lego/ badge is taken from the Football subtheme of Lego Sports
- The "Play On" slogan was once the Lego Company motto

/sw/ - Lego Star Wars: The Video Game |
A hotly contested rivalry, /sw/ would argue that Lego's decision to release Star Wars Lego sets saved the company from bankruptcy and provided a breath of fresh air into the stagnating company; /lego/ argues that Star Wars Lego was the beginning of the end and atrributes the rise of licenseshit, fleshies, and the death of Classic Space to Star Wars. /lego/ has also managed to recruit Lego Yoda, Sharpied Clone and LEGO® Millennium Falcon™ onto their team, adding a further layer of rivalry between the two teams.
